Dr. Badalamenti is one of the best doctors I have every had the pleasure of knowing. She listens to her patients' symptoms and addresses each one with great care and a practical treatment plan. She has helped me with various health concerns that my mainstream primary care physician refused to help with. I don't know what I would have done without her help.

I have been seeing Dr. Porter at EVND for many years from issues like pain, general health, hormones, ADD, etc. I cannot stress how much I love him because you don’t feel like just a number and he takes the time to hear you and you actually discuss things pertinent to your whole health! It is a little hard to get in to see him unless you book ahead BUT I have (or my family) have seen a couple other doctors here too and they are wonderful as well. Also, their office staff is wonderful! Haven’t met a better group.

This office is amazing. The office is clean and the staff is nice. My daughter age 9 was having stomach concerns and we tested her for allergies. The Dr. was very good talking to my daughter about foods she needs to avoid and understands that kids are young and options of what to do if she has those foods. I see Dr. Nevels she really listens to her patients and I am grateful for all her support to improve my health.

I've had chronic Lyme for over 10 years along with a bunch of co-infections that have been chronic, debilitating and utterly life destroying. I was referred by another patient to see Dr. Porter and I immediately was impressed with the friendliness of the front desk staff, cleanliness of the office space, and Dr. Porter's obvious concern and empathy towards me as a patient. It cannot be understated the treachery that has been bestowed upon me in this life by these tickborne infections. Dr. Porter clearly cares for his patients and he doesn't beat around the bush. He has his perspective and he also should be credited with being willing to hear the perspective of the patient and receive feedback from the patient!! What actually impressed me the most about him is he has a willingness to receive other information and revise his position or perspective. That is a mark of a man who is going to give you the best possible medical care because egotistical doctors refuse to revise their positions despite receiving additional information that should allow for changes to occur. anyone with Lyme has definitely had the experience of being discounted, gaslit and their symptoms minimized. Somebody like Dr. Porter is a completely different experience.I have been very impressed with Dr. Porter's confidence and assurances that he believes he can get me better- even a 10% or 20% improvement in my current health status would be welcome. My health is in a very complex and precarious state. I've lost my job. I've lost my ability to work I've lost my ability to drive with recent vertigo and vestibular neuritis likely being caused by tick infections. I have lost my ability to have hobbies or social life or vacation with my children. The hope of getting better is all that keeps me going and I need to be here for my children. I have embraced Dr. Porter's plan wholeheartedly, and will continue to do so. I also appreciate that Dr. Porter is willing to work with other doctors and he is amenable to driving the naturopathic treatment plan alongside allopathic treatment plans. Dr. porter uses an effective marriage of normal prescription medications and naturopathic ones. I truly believe this will give me the best shot at improvement. This is truly to his credit. I also have to say that the front office staff have just been lovely, welcoming, caring, and patient and understanding despite my addled brain which has been severely impacted by these infections. Another thing that I really like about Dr. Porter's office is that he doesn't charge an arm and a leg for everything- he recognizes that this population of patients are struggling and I've seen that the markup on his storefront items is not significant if at all and I appreciate that! There are some clinics around the valley that seem to be money grabbing in every regard, I look forward to achieving a better state of health at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr B is knowledgeable, confidant, and thorough. She took the time to review years’ worth of previous tests completed elsewhere before moving forward with her own plan of care. She ends each appointment with a write up of the current plan and recommendations as well as next potential steps. She’s been great with my autoimmune conditions and prioritizing conditions to focus on in the order of symptoms rather than throwing everything at me all at once.

Five stars all day long. Not just for Dr B, but the entire staff. I have been searching for my perfect fit for a healthcare provider, and their first point of contact was so nice, not rushed, and so knowledgeable. Dr B was the same way in terms of listening, and making a plan for my current issues as well as just how to stay healthy. I am so glad I landed at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors!

I had been to the same doctor for over 10 years. When I became very ill nothing was done. Not even the tests I requested. It turned out my doctor was never reading my lab results and never changed my thyroid meds. I was over medicated causing other issues in my body. I went to a thyroid specialist (while still in the investigation stage) and they never suggested reducing the dosage (But I did right way) and kept telling my I had some other auto immune disease. Short story is I started with Dr. Badalamenti and she did a full comprehensive review of my issues and went through a bunch of blood tests to rule things in or out. It was also my wish to do all of these. I had some other weird issues and she took the time to research and help develop a plan. Almost everything seems to be in balance now and I recommend her to everybody. This route is so much better than a traditional doctor that wants you in and out of their office inside of 10 min.

Dr. Nevel is amazing. She listen to everything your saying. And puts together a plan that works for you. She is genuine. All support staff are great.

I just have to thank Dr. Badalamenti for her help on getting me well again. I have a history of Lyme, but ended up getting really sick from black mold exposure in my now former home.

A Nurse Practitioner prescribed ciprofloxacin to me for what we thought was diverticulitis. It wasn't. The drug "floxed" me, causing a host of issues.

Dr. Badalamenti put me on the Cowden Protocol, along with IV ozone therapy. She recommended infrared saunas. I did them a couple days a week for a month. I took various supplements, but her recommended glutithione and binders really helped me turn the corner.

She then put me on an all natural testosterone supplement to boost my low testosterone.

I am almost back to 100%.

I am lucky to have Dr. Laura Badalamenti as my naturopathic doctor. When I started to have severe gut problems several years ago, it was Dr. B who got me to the right tests and treatment for parasites. After that when I had severe diarrhea and underwent numerous tests with my primary care doctor and then a specialist, they could not diagnose me. Dr. B and I tried several different approaches and finally found the right supplement and a diagnosis that the specialist had never even considered. Dr. B is the best!

Dr Badalamenti aka Dr. B. Has been one of the only doctors to fully listen to me and actually believe what I had to say was a valid concern. Dr. B has helped and continues to help me in getting my body back on track.

In the last 4 yrs I have been told by multiple Dr's my fatigue was due to me being a "busy" mom and "stress." I was told my blood sugars were within "normal" ranges (family history of diabetes) and that my severe nerve pain was nothing to be concerned about. I was starting to believe I was in the wrong of how I felt.

Dr Jennifer Nevels is amazing. She is caring and personable. She knew exactly what tests to run to determine why I was feeling so poorly. I have been working with her for about a year and I feel so much better! My regular provider would never have thought to run certain labs to determine the cause. I’ve tried to find a doctor for years to address various health concerns, including digestion. I had my initial one hour appointment with Dr. Badalamenti who was able to address every single concern and educate me on how they related. We made a plan of action to handle them all together. Dr. Jason Porter and the entire staff at EVND are amazing to me. I have an obscure, irregular yet consequential affliction that has lead doctors on wild goose chases. I'm fatigued by doctors driven by ROI, surrendering to the dollar and relinquishing their pursuit of my health, as the intricacy of my ailments (plural) exceed their financial thresholds. Not only has Dr. Porter and EVND not let up, they have been both unrelenting and compassionate in their pursuit of identifying and removing the obstacles that hinder my ability to heal.

At my first visit, Dr. Porter said my health was confounded by many illusive and interwoven issues. He then asked for permission to investigate this with me, with an attitude of “let us figure this out.” Over the last 3 years, he and the entire EVND staff have been undeterred in this mission to improve my health.

The staff has been simply amazing. When I struggled, they were encouraging, gave personal or relevant examples to help me get past the challenges. Time and again I have seen the doctors interacting with the staff to get everyone's perspective to make sure the best care and solutions are provided the patient from which I've benefited. They each play a core role in the clinic. They have the gentlest phlebotomist, compassionate therapists, and a team that tries their best to create an atmosphere of healing.

One example of their care: I have had multiple brain traumas, none of which I was previously aware of as all brain scans were negative. I felt I had a brain degeneration disease. Using QEEG brain mapping and other assessments, Dr. Porter said I have functional issues, not physical. My analogy - If my brain were a freeway system, my neural roadways are fine, but I have traffic jams everywhere as the trauma has dumped construction cones on all the neural roadways. Therefore, the goal is to remove the cones to get the neural traffic flowing again.

Dr. Porter used many QEEGs to map the functionality of my brain, using Neurofeedback to retrain my brain's function. The Neurofeedback was going great, until part of my brain stopped healing. The faster portion of my brain increasingly conflicted with the slower stuck portion of my brain...making my mental world rather unstable, to say the least. Working with his staff and doing some incredible research, they came up with many modifications (some intense) that helped my brain free itself. As corny as this sounds, I really feel like I have a new brain. It is wonderful! An unexpected side benefit of their Neurofeedback protocols is this has been the BEST treatment I've had for my cPTSD.

My hall of fame of therapies that have significantly helped me include: QEEG and Neurofeedback, Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, Detox IVs with glutathione, Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Cardio Miracle supplementation, mold/fungus/Lyme Disease/parasite treatments (their parasite testing is very intricate), plus treatments for autoimmune and dysautonomia.

On HRV, had a major and debilitating cPTSD triggering moment. I then practiced what I have learned with the HRV training and was astonished that it singlehandedly deescalated the trigger in short order, removing the debilitation.

Though my journey continues with ENVD with still many unknowns, desired to write this review now as much headway has been made. Through their diligence, I'm really starting to make some breakthroughs in my afflictions. I've seen the heart of the people who work here. And if they did not care and were not willing to go the extra distance for me, I would be in very poor health debating which pills I should swallow. For what Dr. Porter and the EVND team has done, I am truly grateful.

First time in decades where I've found a doctor that actually listens and cares. I have only been a patient of Dr. Jennifer Nevels for a couple months, but already she has developed a plan to address my serious medical concerns that other doctors ignored for years. Dr. Nevels is willing to try to get to the root cause and not just write dozens of scripts for pain killers. I love how Dr. Nevels is to open to prescribing natural supplements in addition to traditional medicine. She also suggested options such as a phone APP to monitor my progress, and an online store to purchase supplements. So far I think she deserves "10" not five stars.

I’ve been going to Dr Jennifer Nevell for the last year. She is amazing! I have not felt this healthy in 10 years! The staff is so helpful and kind.

I'm sure my story is like many with the frustration of experiencing issues, going to to a conventional doctor, asking for labwork to be done, getting the results where "everything is normal," then to be told one of two things: 1. You might be depressed, or 2. You would benefit from being on birth control.

So for a while I gave up on believing anything could change and when an issue would come up echo the doctors "it's all in my head." Eventually I started therapy, started working out regularly, improved my diet, heard from friends their glowing recommendations about EVND. Then despite all of the improvements to my mental health, etc, I fell back into all of the issues I'd been having before. Jaded from conventional medicine I made an appointment with Dr Badalamenti. First off, I was surprised she greeted me in the waiting room, not a nurse. Then she sat with me and asked for everything, holistically, with no rush, no platitudes. She ordered a huge panel of labwork to check every one of my questions. When the results came back her interpretation of the information was incredible; that even though so many things came back between the margins of "normal", her experience and expertise knew that where my "normal levels" were at would create the exact symptoms I was experiencing. We then worked up a plan to raise some, lower others, by implementing diet changes, supplements, and a plan to add medicine later should the initial shift need some more support. Since those first appointments she continues to be understanding, reassuring, and supportive, offering many options, and encouraging me to do what I am more comfortable and able to do. Basically she is what every MD in every practice should be doing already.

Dr Porter and Team have been an absolute joy to work with. They have been instrumental in helping me gain and maintain optimal health. From our first visit and on with Dr Porter I have been very impressed! He took an entire hour on our first visit to understand all of my daughter’s symptoms. He took detailed notes, asked questions, and listened. I can tell his goal is to be on a team with you. He gives different treatment options and lets you decide which route to take. He answers questions and has great resources and information. He is cost conscious offering options for testing and prescriptions. He types out the plan and sends it home so that we know what to do and what to look for. He is honestly a genius. The only downside for me is that when I call to make an appointment, I have to wait a while before I can be seen. It’s always been worth the wait!

I was shuffled between Doctors and went to the ER to figure out what was going on and why I was losing feeling in my left side of my body plus having heart rhythm and blood pressure regulation issues, headaches and abnormal fatigue. After my first appt with Dr. B she narrowed in on likely causes and ran an infectious disease panel with a few other things. She did an excellent job of not duplicating tests I had already run. I had to wait a bit for the test results based on a backup in their phlebotomy schedule, but she was spot on with her guesses and come to find out I had West Nile virus. She was able to put me on immune support and between my bodies own healing process and her treatment plan I am on the mend. I have never worked with a doc who took the time to so thoroughly understand the situation and could see what others can't see. I will definitely be an ongoing patient here!

The very first time I visited with Dr. Porter he suspected I had an underlying infection or a parasite. I listened to him and tested for parasites. She takes plenty of time to explain all the treatments that she recommends, and all the supplements that she has recommended have done wonderful things for my health. I'm not all that interested in prescription meds. Dr. B always offers me natural supplements over prescriptions whenever possible. She has turned my health around, and I am very grateful.

I was referred to see Dr. Badalamenti by a friend at work after I had a terrible experience at a general PCP. I saw the general PCP to try and find out why I was having continuous nausea, making day to day life very difficult. I had thought it was due to the 3 month cycle birth control she had started me on since it started right after that. This doctor ran ONE test and basically threw her hands up because I was negative for ONE stomach bacteria, not acceptable in my world.

My experience at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors has been nothing but amazing! Dr. Badalamenti greeted me in the lobby and walked me back to her office/exam room (never happens). I've been going here for years now. Dr. Porter was the first and only doctor to diagnose my Lyme Disease and provide a treatment that worked. I'm self pay and had spent thousands out of pocket to numerous other doctors with no results. Great experience today. I went to 2 regular doctors who had the MRI and didn’t know the issue. I was recently sick and I saw my doctor and he suggested I get the Hydrogen Peroxide IV and while that seems weird to do, I have to say it was a good experience and I feel so much better after having done it. I would rather go to see Dr. Porter and his team than anywhere else. I feel like he cares and he listens and tries to find a solution for me. Since having the IV therapy I have not had to take the prescription for my hives and it is really nice to not need them.

I've seen Dr. Porter in the past and I've also been a patient of Dr. Badalamenti, they both have been so thorough with me, taking their time to really get all the details on my health to really find the root cause instead of just a quick fix like most doctors do. I've been at this clinic for health issues that other primary care doctors and specialists weren't able to successfully treat or diagnose, and things finally started looking up after I went to EVND. The cost of their visit might be a little pricier than going to your insurance covered providers but I promise it's worth it for the value and quality of care you actually get.

I started working with Dr. Porter summer of 2022. I had crippling anxiety that had developed randomly in the previous 2 years. Per my regular physician they just prescribed me an anti depressant and sent me on my way. This Dr.’s office is AMAZING. Dr. Nevels has been our family Dr for over 5 years now and she is phenomenal. This is going to be a very vulnerable review. But, if it helps even just one person decide to go see EVND, it's a win for all.

I recently decided to come off of the pill after being on it for nearly 10 years...with other purposes behind it. It was starting to feel like a crutch and I did not know my body at all when not on it. I didn't know what regulated/natural hormones felt like and I was sick of putting the pill into my body daily. This is something I did not want to do alone though, and I knew a general doc/OBGYN was not the direction I wanted to go. I was so nervous and felt like I needed extra support.

The initial visit at EVND was 60 mins long and I felt HEARD. I walked out of the office feeling so much better and more confident in my choice than when I walked in. Dr. Badalamenti is so knowledgeable and I felt comfortable around her and her expertise. Of course, everyone's body functions differently so I knew there would be no guarantee of what to expect in coming off of the pill. But, that's just it. We were in it together to troubleshoot any issues.

I went back a couple months later to do a blood draw to test where my hormones were at. I have always had really bad experiences with blood draws and avoid them like the plague. This one by far was the easiest and most comfortable blood draw I have ever done. We were done in 60 seconds or less.

I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are on the fence of seeing a Naturopathic Dr. because they don't take insurance...it is absolutely worth every penny.

I’ve been working with Dr. Porter since 2020. He was able to diagnose long haul Lyme disease as well as a parasitic infection whereas previously I was unable to find a diagnosis. So far so good. Had my first appointment and really liked Dr Nevis. She took the time to go over all of my health history. The staff was friendly. Really nice facility. The only downside would be needing to wait about a month out to get my labs done and then another three weeks for a follow up.

My children and I have been seeing the Doctors at East Valley Naturopathic for many years. I have zero complaints. Zero. The doctors and their staff have become like family to us. Yes. That's how much we are there. But they make every moment, in their offices pleasant and we truly feel watched over and cared for.

These doctors typically get the patients that western medicine couldn't help. They are the dumping ground for the chronically ill. And boy, are they good at it!!

We have thrown plenty of curveballs, with our health challenges, but they are always ready to help. In my opinion, they are the type of doctors who don't like to be bested. They stay on top of the newest medical studies. They are constantly honing their skills and understanding of the issues their patients face.

If you are questioning whether you should give these doctors a chance. . . Well, stop it! No question about it. You'll get what you need from them and feel like they give a hoot in the meantime. No one's going to tell you that "it's in your head" here or that you're a hypochondriac. They've probably been healing people just like you.

Always treated so well and like family when i walk through these office doors. The staff and docs are looking to help in any way they can and so good at being able to treat physically and mentally!!

Dr Porter was relentless in trying to find the reason for my daughters decline. He was patient and honest. He did not stop until we had answers. He has completely changed my daughters life to a wonderful journey of healing. I can not ever thank him enough.

I Love East Valley Naturopathic Doctors. As a family of 7, we have seen almost every provider in their office, each for different reasons. We have been seeing the Doctors in this office for the past 5 years. Each one is amazing and very knowledgeable. They listen and treat each person individually. They are timely in their visits and we never wait more than a few minutes in the office before seeing the Dr. We will continue to see them in the future.

I have been seeing Dr. Jennifer Nevels for over 10 years. She has provided me with excellent medical care, always thorough, and with great concern and kindness. I got PRP therapy on my shoulder and gluteus Maximus. I went to so many doctors with my shoulders none helped until I got the PRP. I got at least 70% better with the PRP. My gluteus I could barely walk. I also did some Physical therapy that helped. Thanks so much to East Valley for getting me better!

We see dr Porter for my daughter. He is very patient in hearing our concerns and helping her a lot with the right treatments. He is always prompt in ordering medications and refills. The office staff is very friendly.

I came to EVND after beginning a serious bout of anxiety and panic disorder. I was afraid of everything--standing for too long, driving, leaving the house... it was horrible. Dr. Badalamenti listened to my concerns and figured out all my problems are related to hormone imbalance. I also voiced concerns about my thyroid, and she got me a thyroid panel just to help put me at ease. It's been about a year now and I can function normally again. Amazing!

I came here in hopes to help with my digestive issues that my GI would bit help with. For the past 4-5 years I have had terrible stomach issues to the point where I would only once a day. Dr. Badalementi has impressed me several times! She takes time and makes sure my issues are addressed. She is knowledgeable and cares that I am being helped. I believe she takes a genuine interest in me!

Dr. Nevels is truly the most genuine and caring person. She started treating my daughter a year ago. Before meeting with her, we had been to over 10 different doctors and specialists trying to find answers and healing. None of the previous doctors were interested in finding the root cause of the problem; they all just wanted to throw another prescription at her. Not Dr. Nevels. She spent the time to pour over ALL of her previous tests and found things in them that all of the other doctors had missed. She took the time to listen to us and asked many questions so she had the entire picture. She performed lab tests and found out key components to her illness.

My daughter was in a wheelchair when we started going to her and has since been able to walk on her own two feet. She has been there every step of the way. I love that she treats everything from a natural angle, but is not afraid of a prescription if needed. She is very knowledgeable with both Eastern and Western medicine. She will actually take the time to research different things along the way as needed. She has also been very mindful of expenses and has helped us find affordable routes to accomplish what we need. We have since taken my other daughter and husband to her for their needs as well. She is truly a trusted professional who really cares about her patients. You will not regret going to see her!

I met with Dr Nevels today and WOW! She spent an hour and 20 minutes with me. She went over my symptoms line by line. She is extremely knowledgeable in both Eastern AND western medicine, truly the best of both worlds. She was kind and caring. I feel hopeful about my health for the first time in two years. I went through an incredibly tough 2016 with very severe health issues. Coming to see Dr Porter was one of the very best things I did in helping me restore my health. He ordered blood work that your regular MD would probably know nothing about, that ended up being very telling regarding how to proceed with bettering my health. If you are suffering in anyway shape or form do yourself a huge favor and go and see Dr Porter and his staff. I truly believe they can help you get on the road to health that you didn’t know was possible. Dr. Porter is a very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. He found that I had a stubborn case of walking pneumonia as the cause to my problems with fatigue and came up with a treatment plan to eliminate that issue. Dr. Porter also performed PRP on both knees, which has provided wonderful results, and kept me from having surgery! The entire operation at East Valley Naturopathic is friendly and professional from the initial phone call all the way through the treatment process. I had been dealing with skin issues a few years back and no medical doctor was able to find a solution. Then I met Dr. Keiffer and in my first visit we met for around 45 mins and I can' t remember the last time I spent that much time with a doctor regarding my health. I recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone!!! The staff at the front desk were amazing, professional, friendly, AND knowledgeable. She took the time to explain certain procedures to me to make sure I understood and informede of everything up front. I've had an ankle issue for almost two years. I've been to other doctors and foot/ankle specialists, numerous scans done....no one knew what was wrong with me and could not help. One meeting with Dr. Porter and I got the PRP treatment....I have not experienced any pain since then and Dr. Porter knew right away what my issue was and explained it fully to me so I understood what was wrong and how to fix it. I will not go to any other clinic for anything else anymore. My experience with EVN was phenomenal and the personnel here really are a different breed than most other clinics.

There's not enough words for Dr. Nevels. I went to her for hormone treatment, therapy, whatever you want to call it. She put me on a great regimen. When I became pregnant about five months later, I NEVER had a day of morning sickness or food aversion. I'm the "get sick" type so I was blown away that I didn't have symptoms but I know it's because of the hormone balancing and supplements Jen (Dr. Nevels) had me take. I need to go back soon to get level again!

I could never run out of good things to say about Dr. Nevels. She is a truly gifted doctor. She listens with great love and compassion and I believe this, combined with her passion for medicine and helping people, is what sets her apart from other physicians.

When I met Dr. Nevels about 10 years ago, I had been seeking answers to mysterious illnesses that often left me stuck in bed and suffering from body pain and severe brain fog for many years. I visited 12+ doctors and was receiving responses such as "you will always be this way" and "this is as good as it gets" and "your case is too complicated, I'm sorry, I can't work with you" to "there is nothing wrong with you, it's in your head". Whatever was wrong was literally destroying my life, and I was losing hope. When I met Dr. Nevels, I noticed right away that she listened carefully, and not with a presupposed idea about what was really going on. It took some time, but the layers were peeled back and the root causes were found, and with her expertise I was able to correct my health and get back to living a full, vibrant life. I am forever grateful to her for her approach to helping me heal. She cares just as much about what is going mentally and emotionally as physically which is extremely important to heal the whole self. I want to add, Dr. Nevels is so very well rounded as a practitioner - if she thinks the illness can be healed with herbs and nutrition she will go that route, but she has nothing against prescribing medications when medications are needed. Dr. Nevels also isn't just a doctor for last resort, mysterious medical issues, as she is a General Family Practitioner.

I think if there is one thing I would tell you about Dr. Nevels, it is that she will listen to everything you are saying, compassionately, and take you as the patient very seriously. But she will also put you completely at ease, and believe in you more than you've ever believed in yourself, and she will cheer you on during your healing journey.

My son had real problems with ADHD and Reactive Attachment Disorder. He was acting out at school and having trouble making friends and his behavior was really disruptive.

When things wouldn't go his way at home, he would get out of control, getting angry and sometimes lashing out and sometimes hurting himself or other family members.

We had him tested at EVND with their QB check and they were able to show us data and give us a breakdown of what we could expect. Our son went through 20 treatment sessions and in that time we filled out weekly tracking paperwork and they showed us ongoing progress from his brainwaves and at the end of it, our little boy was a different person!

It was definitely worth it and he was able to make all of these changes without medication. If you are looking to exhaust your treatment options for your child, with or without medication, I would definitely recommend EVND's ADD/ADHD Evaluation and Neurofeedback Therapy.

Have been taking my kids there since their first check up. I love this office, Dr. Keri Rittling takes her time figuring out the root of the problem when my kids are sick, and doesn't prescribed just based on symptoms like many other Pediatricians I have gone to before. Highly recommended, just expect to pay more than at your other regular doctor visits - but I feel they are well worth it!

I have been a regular patient at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors for more than two years and am positively thrilled with my experience! I routinely receive nutrient I.V.s (Myer's cocktail) for general health and wellness, and also see Dr. Porter for long-term allergy/immunological issues, which have been unresolved by other doctors. He is the most diligent, knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen -- always working overtime to get to the root cause of a problem (as opposed to merely masking symptoms with medications). It's long been my experience that Naturopathic doctors are truly dedicated to their patients and, above all, their patients' whole-body wellness, and my experience at EVND has only underscored that point!

In addition to my IVs and visits with Dr. Porter, I also recently became acquainted with Dr. Julie Kieffer, a Nathuropath who is now performing minor surgical procedures in the office. More than 20 years ago, when I was a teenager, I had an accident that tore my earlobe all the way through. I had always wanted to fix it, but never made it a priority. Instead, I just repierced my ear (and tried to cover the tear with my hair). I was thrilled to learn that Dr. Kieffer was able to fix my earlobe in a simple, cost-effective, in-office procedure.

Although I was somewhat nervous before the procedure, Dr. Kieffer immediately put me at ease. I was in great, experienced hands and I literally felt no discomfort (not even when injected with the local anesthesia). In less than one hour, my ear was made whole again. I was expertly stitched up and sent on my merry way. I felt little or no pain later that day or the days following. The stitches were removed a week later – and now three weeks post-procedure, my earlobe is looking great! The scarring is already fading significantly, and I’ll be repiercing in the next couple months.

I would highly recommend Dr. Kieffer for minor surgical procedures and look forward to seeing her again during her ‘Whack-a-Mole’ clinics. She is kind, gentle and, above all, well-skilled. And her rates are terrific, too. Chalk this up to another terrific experience at EVND!

I can't say enough terrific things about the physicians, staff and clinic, in general. I consider myself very fortunate to have found EVND -- I owe my improving health to them!

I have been to many Doctors regarding my health issues and the always loved to clump me into the "normal" range and slapping me on some medication that caused more issues. I believe that every person is unique and while "normal" is the average, not everyone fits in that range. I happen to be one of those people. Dr Nevel took the time to really look into my history and to review what the underlying problem was and we worked to resolve it...which in turn took care of most of my symptoms. I am so thankful that I have found her clinic. It has been an absolute blessing.
