EVND would like to introduce nutritionist and environmental coach Shelly Sandhu to our practice. She is dedicated to helping her patients develop strategies to reach their health goals and reduce toxic exposures. As a behavioral change specialist, Shelly is able to support holistic lifestyle transformations, enabling her patients to develop consistent and positive lifelong habits. She is an experienced lecturer as well as up-to-date on the diet protocols of EVND with the added knowledge to help reduce toxic exposures so common in our food and environment.
At a member of the EVND team, she will work with your doctor’s recommendations to determine the best approach for you, and provide individualized diet and environment coaching to meet your needs. She believes that eating well is often not easy for most people and she feels passionate about working through behavioral and triggering challenges that can get in the way. Some common diets prescribed by our doctors that could use some nutritional guidance include: Alzheimer’s/dementia, weight loss, high cholesterol, diabetes, autism, candida and the gut microbiome, as well as developing a more strategic food sensitivity elimination plan. She also is passionate about the impact that toxins have on our health and can spend time one on one in an hour appointment to review key exposures in your home environment as well as tips for more natural alternatives in home and skin care.
