Neural Zoomer Plus

The Neural Zoomer Plus is a panel of the 48 most commonly studied neurological antibodies which may have connections to a variety of neurologically related diseases. Detection of any antibodies present in the brain can explain complex disease presentations and provide a more precise roadmap for recommending therapies to improve health outcomes. This powerful test can be used in the midst of complex neurological symptoms or decades earlier to evaluate future risk. Neural Zoomer Plus also provides an option for genetic testing for the ApoE genotype, which has been shown to increase risk of dementia or Alzheimers disease. Although it is no longer recommended, many patients have historically avoided testing because of the fear and hopelessness they feel of knowing these risks. Decades of research have opened up the doors to successful treatment of many neurological disorders inlcuding Alzheimers, Parkinsons, PANDAS/PANS, Autism, Chronic Demyelinating Polyneuropathy(CIDP), Multiple Sclerosis, and many others.

Symptoms associated with autoimmunity in the immune system include:

  • Cognitive decline
  • Memory loss
  • Ataxia
  • Balance problems
  • Neuropathy
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Encephalitis
  • Muscle spasms
  • Huntington’s disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Dementia
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Muscle stiffness/rigidity
  • Optical decline
  • Neuromyelitis optica
  • History of concussion
  • Autism
  • PANDAS/PANS/OCD
  • Demyelinating diseases
  • Peripheral Neuropathy

What about testing in the pediatric population?

Although the Neural Zoomer Plus has been validated in the adult population only, it may still be useful to utilize the test in pediatric patients. The consideration of this test should be elevated with Autoimmune Encephalitis, PANDAS, and PANS particularly when diagnosis or therapy has stagnated.
