Infectious testing

Testing for chronic infections is essential at times to look for a correlation or root cause discovery as it relates to chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, auto-immune diseases, unexplained joint pain and mood disorders. Some exposures to these particular viruses and bacteria can be decades earlier, but what makes these infections concerning is the fact that they can continue to be present in the body despite overcoming the initial acute illness symptoms.

Common infections we may evaluate for include:

  • EBV (Epstein Barr virus)
  • Lyme and its co-infections, such as Bartonella
  • Mycoplasma pneumonia
  • CMV (Cytomegalovirus)
  • Streptococcus
  • Chlamydia pneumonia
