Journey of a TriAthlete part 3
It is true. I finished my first official Olympic distance triathlon. What a great experience. I did not come close to winning anything, other than a finishing metal. To summarize my overall experience, I got whipped on and then had to run home six miles after a gruesome beating.
It started with a swim just a few hundred yards shy of a mile. Because I felt my weakest parts of a triathlon would be running and biking, I trained very little or not at all for the swimming portion of the race. This Read more [...]

Got Stress?
Who doesn’t. Everyone has stress to some degree. We live in a world where we are constantly on the go regardless of our place in it and we don’t always see eye to eye with everyone or everything in it. For the fun of it, I decided to look up to see how stress is defined these days in a good old dictionary and this is what I found.
A mentally or emotionally disruptive or upsetting condition occurring in response to adverse external influences and capable of affecting physical health, usually Read more [...]

Journey of a TriAthlete part 2; Lessons Learned
Lessons I have learned? It doesn't take to long to recognize your deficiencies when you begin training for a triathlon. May I share a few? The first thought was, I can swim and ride a bike, but I hate running. So I began with the weak link, and I began by running a mile. The next day I ran a mile and walked a mile. The third day I ran a mile and walked 2 miles. Every day I added more time to my walk, working up to an hour. After that I began to run 2 miles and then 3, and so forth until I was able Read more [...]

Journey of a TriAthlete part 1; They made me do it!
They made me do it! I am referring to my friends and family who talked me into signing up for a triathlon. I have always been a wishful dreamer, wanting some day to have completed such an event. Now I start training! It’s an Olympic distance, which is not too long. I expect the ocean to be cold so I have Read more [...]

Lack of Oxygen causes Cancer?
The foundation of cancer treatment at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors is based on the profound research of Otto Warburg. Otto Warburg, M.D.,Ph.D., proved that a 35% reduction in oxygen caused any cell to either die or turn cancerous. Cancer is the body, at the cellular level, attempting to survive by reverting to a primitive survival mechanism. Surprisingly, it’s that simple. Most normal healthy cells get their energy by using oxygen in a process called “respiration.” This can be contrasted Read more [...]

"What is this on my skin?"
What Is This On My Skin?
Most of us over the age of thirty-five have something on our skin that we did not have in years past. When they show up we are not really sure.
